How has your church attendance been during the recent economic crisis? Interestingly, ours is up about 25% over this time last year (from about 200 to about 250), which could easily be attributed to "natural" growth, but could also have something to do with the crisis that many people are facing because of the slow US economy.

I'm not so sure the economy has played a part in the increased attendance yet. Certainly the increased attendance hasn't increased the church's economy, though.
I say "yet" because should things continue to decline economically there could be a positive spiritual result. However, in our location I think many people will pack up and leave.
