"Rockabye Baby!" is the group mentioned above that records the lullaby renditions of modern groups. We have both the Coldplay and the U2 albums. Forget Gwyneth...I love them both. :D
BTW, I saw Shawn McDonald two years ago doing an acoustic show...his guitar skills are crazy. We thought there was someone off stage playing also, but it was just Shawn and the stuff he can do on guitar. It was amazing.
I would also check out "Full Attention" by Jeremy Riddle if you haven't already. It's worshipful yet has a unique sound and style.
I also wanted to say I'm glad you're back to blogging here again. I've followed your "Confessions" blog and your story is amazing. But, I have missed your insights into leading worship, so I'm glad you're back in the saddle again. :)
Ever heard of Cynthia Jones, a local christian artist from Raleigh, latest CD "Gotta Soul"? She's got a voice like velvet, R&B beats mostly, some edgy lyrics. Her voice is "shivery" - I love music that does that, makes your spinal cord tingle - that's just so cool to have a gift like that!

Chris Tomlin has a new CD coming soon called "Hello Love". If you can wait, I'd wait for that one!

I also recommend Passion's "God of This City" CD. So good!
Thanks for the heads-up about the new CT album!
I bought "God of This City" the day it came out...I'll keep my incredibly disappointed opinions about that to myself... :(
Ben Harper!!!
Coldplay has lullaby renditions of some of their songs that gwyneth might like. I play them for my daughter when I'm sick of hearing the Wiggles!!!
I would recommend Shawn McDonald's "Roots." It's great.

I'll check out the Shawn McDonald album.
Into the Wild Soundtrack (Eddie Vedder).
One of the best albums I've heard in a while.

John Mayer Trio's Try. Nothing like his radio stuff, but fantastic.
I 2nd the John Mayer Trio! Good Stuff!
Isn't Third Day coming out with a new one soon, too?
Yep, just checked. "Revelation," released next month.
