iServe

We're looking for a good way to promote getting involved in ministry at our church. I know the whole Mac/iPod thing it's been overused, but not in our area or with our people, so I'm willing to use it this one time. And, can you really overuse Mac?

Anyway, I'm not crazy about this, yet, but it's as far as I could get today. I especially don't like the black on the bottom Let me know what you think and if you think I can/should change something. The first pic is mine (it's amazing what you can do with PPT when you have to)... the second pic is of a real iMac.

Thanks!

Nate

I like the concept. I agree that the black isn't quite right. My initial reaction was to make it look even more like the lower picture (menus, monitor stand, and everything) and make the background some other color than white.

I agree that you need to make your computer screen look more like the lower pic. Putting a stand on the monitor would be a big help. You could possibly put pictures of others serving across the bottom of the screen in place of the MAC icons. And on the top at the left, put possible areas of service (youth, social committee, greeters, worship team, etc.). I really like your church logo in place of the apple, as well as the iServe and the "plug in today". Good word usage.

I actually like the black at the bottom, and think that the idea is good. I don't think that that you really NEED to have it look almost identical to an actual Mac...it's nice, but not necessary, IMO, for what you're trying to do.

I wonder how many will get it. Honestly, I wouldn't, and I'm probably more computer savvy than the average church member. IMac is a term I only recently became aware of.

Lots of young families checking us out. They will get it. The old folks are still trying to figure out what Vista is.
I think it is a brilliant idea.
Let's start with the basics. There is this thing called an iPod.....
