As I was watching LOTR "The Return Of The King" a few days ago, I was thinking to myself that it would be very cool if Peter Jackson could direct a movie version of "The Hobbit". As I was driving in my car today, thinking about Peter Jackson and the incredible lengths that he took to make the LOTR trilogy, I heard on the radio that indeed, PJ has signed on to direct "The Hobbit" as two movies. Cool that he will be involved in the Hobbit. Good story. I read that he will be producing, not directing and that Sam Raimi may in fact be directing. We will see.

Oh yeah I guess I didn't convey that I am incredibly stoked as well! I am glad to hear that Jackson is involved. Now the down side is we have to wait until 2010 and 2011 for both to be out.
Guess, I gotta read the books to tide me over.
yeah...I was thinking that I need to break out The Hobbit again. Been a while since I read it.
